Sinopsis

Nuevas formas de buscar y analizar con IA la información científica examina cómo la inteligencia artificial está modificando las prácticas de búsqueda, organización, lectura, análisis y verificación de literatura académica. La obra aborda la evolución desde procedimientos basados principalmente en palabras clave hacia sistemas de recuperación semántica, recomendación automatizada y procesamiento contextual de documentos. También analiza la construcción de mapas digitales del conocimiento mediante redes de autores, documentos, conceptos, cocitación y agrupamientos temáticos, destacando la necesidad de interpretar críticamente estas representaciones. Otro eje corresponde a la lectura automatizada de grandes colecciones, incluyendo extracción de información, resumen, clasificación, comparación y síntesis de evidencia. El libro estudia además el uso de inteligencia artificial para identificar tendencias, temas emergentes, vacíos de conocimiento, patrones metodológicos y contradicciones científicas. Finalmente, desarrolla criterios para verificar fuentes, referencias, DOI y correspondencia entre afirmaciones y citas, considerando problemas como alucinaciones, errores bibliográficos y pérdida de trazabilidad. El enfoque mantiene una posición crítica: la automatización amplía la capacidad de procesar información científica, pero no sustituye la evaluación metodológica, la lectura contextual ni la responsabilidad del investigador sobre la evidencia utilizada.
